Keep yourself in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

September 2001 Newsletter
Greetings From The Scholtz's
Summer began to heat up for us starting in May. We want to give you a quick review of some of the highlights:
Rodeo Bible Camps
These camps have become the focal point of our summers now. We were honored to be a part of several camps in various functions.
They are all sponsored by The Fellowship of Christian Cowboys,
but are individually run by the FCC Chapters in each community. These men and women have a passion to reach kids for Christ and use the sport of rodeo to draw their attention.
We were able to help at camps in Howard, KS - then 4 in Colorado: Monte Vista, La Veta, Kersey, and Black Forest. It has been thrilling to see Christ changing the lives of these kids,
and to see the growth of those who ARE believers. Another incredible benefit is the close fellowship that we felt with the staff at each camp.
If you are at all interested in helping at or starting one of these Rodeo Bible Camps, contact The Fellowship of Christian Cowboys.
We would LOVE to have your help!!!! In fact, we will be having an RBC near us, in Fowler, Colorado on October 12, 13, 14 of 2001. Here is a chance to help yet this year. If you would be interested, call us, the FCC office (719-630-7636) or Mike Diodosio (719-263-4732) right away!!!!
Our New Place !!!
Though we would like to put lots of pictures in to let you see our place, guess you just need to come by to see it all!! We can hardly believe we have been here over a year now. There is so much we want to do, but now that we own a place, we have the rest of our lives to get it how we envisioned it.
We are so thankful that God has entrusted us with all this. We want to use it for His glory and to bring more people to Christ. We feel like the possibilities are endless !!! So, if you get near Boone, Colorado, give us a call, and if we are home we will give you a tour!!!
Family News
Except for being tired from a busy summer, we are all healty. We are so thankful for the continued strength that Paul has been gaining since his surgeries. Linda has been playing Susie-homemaker to the MAX, during the year long process of moving in!!!
P.R. took classes this past year at Pueblo Community College and taking not only his art classes, but also working on his welding certification, to help build the corrals we so desperately need here. This summer he has been involved in a Lifestyle Management Seminar called Pathways, and will be graduating from that this weekend.
We were also so blessed to be visited by Linda's parents from Florida this summer. As they are part of the MAPS RV ministry, and dad is also an electrical contractor, they did some major rewiring in the house and barn, including wiring the shed for a welder!!! THANK-YOU, Mom and Dad!!
Then a week later Linda's sister, Merry, along with her husband, Darron, and their baby, Mikala, were able to come to visit. What a WONDERFUL summer!!!!
Rodeo Ministry
Though our summer was mainly focused on the RBC's, we were also involved at the Colorado State Fair here in Pueblo, with the ministry of Mounted Royal Rangers in the State Fair Parade and one-on-one ministry at the rodeo. We will be heading back for some rodeos this fall along with visiting some of our supporting churches.
Thank you so much for your prayers and your faithful support.
In His Strength,
Paul, Linda and P.R.
