Where are the Scholtz’s?
For some of you we may have been hard to find, like Waldo! But yes, we are still ministering non-stop in rodeo. After 28 yrs of ministry we are even more passionate to reach the lost. Though some may still think rodeo ministry itself is unique, we see God’s passion “that none should perish but have everlasting life” in how He has opened up more facets of evangelism relating to rodeo as you will read about in this update.
Rodeo Ministry We still travel to many PRCA rodeos across the country holding cowboy church services and “KowKids Sunday School, for those in the rodeo and agricultural world. We also do much one-on-one ministry behind the chutes and over many cups of coffee!
Rodeo Bible Camps We have ministered and taught at 6 camps, and 6 trickriding clinics. We saw kids come to improve their skill in rodeo events, and leave with changed lives.
Royal Ranger Playdays We held 2 Royal Ranger rodeos and these are becoming increasingly popular outreaches for ministry. As an extension of Royal Ranger ministries of the Assemblies of God, to reach, teach and keep boys for Christ, this has been an incredible tool for ministry not only ranch kids and families, but inner city kids who would never otherwise have the opportunity to participate in a fun equestrian playday event.

Chaplain to US Cavalry Association
When Paul was asked to fill this position in 2002, more doors of ministry have been opened than we ever imagined to retired army officers and men, active army horseback units, (there are 9 of them) and Civil War/Indian War re-enactors. At this years National Cavalry Competition in Ft Riley, Ks we had an active ministry to todays mounted troopers and had a strong finish at the Fiddlers Green Memorial Service held at the post cemetery. Praise God for still another effective open door!
The Cowboy Rides the Range in Russia Paul went on a Pathfinders trip with Royal Ranger leaders from Wis to an area southeast of Novgorad, Russia. They even gave him a saddle horse to ride. This was 2 weeks of missionary construction on a Royal Rangers National Training center/leaders & youth camp meeting building, and an opportunity to preach at a national Pentecostal church.. The people’s fearless spiritual posture was humbling.

Needs:
We need several people to partner with us specifically for finishing this effective new communication tool/website.
With the doors God continually keeps opening, along with the thousands of miles, our fuel bill has dramatically increased.
We can’t thank YOU, our faithful supporters enough. Without the constant prayers and financial support of the body of Christ, we would be severely limited in our scope and efforts of ministry. Thank-you so much.
Reaching our world for Christ,
Paul and Linda
