Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good,
in order that they may provide for daily necessities
and not live unproductive lives.

Red Top Ranch Trickriding School

Camp Programs

7-Day Camp

Our 7-Day Camp offers intensive training for at least 5-hours per day. Enrollment is limited to 10 students per camp. Each student is trained individually, according to their level of expertise. We have ALL levels of training at each camp, from beginner to professional, and everyone gets individual attention.

There are various activities offered during the evening and during rest breaks such as videos of numerous professional trickriders, photo books, and hand-outs which describe various techniques and available trickriding resources.

In case of snow or rain, we have a small covered area where we can do dry work on a stationary metal horse built for this purpose. "Dry work" is similar to working in ballet or floor mat exercise.

Red Top Ranch students gain valuable experience on correct usage and care of the equipment, horses, and preparation for the professional trickriding venue. The total training package, which compares cost-wise to any coaching activity, prepares students not only for the next show, but also training in exercises, stretches, warm-ups, and costuming.

On the last day of the 7 Day Camp we have a short morning practice, then the students put on a performance for their families, giving them an opportunity to display their new skills.

Weekend Camp

Our weekend sessions are packed with the same quality of individual, intensive training and the same amount of inspiration as provided in our 7 Day Camps. Weekend camp is for those who just aren't able to come for a whole week.
